Our Mission and Values: What Drives Neuron Every Day
Our Mission
To provide manufacturers nationwide with IT services so reliable, so proactive, and so expertly delivered that technology becomes a competitive advantage rather than a source of frustration.
We founded Neuron in 2001 with a simple observation: manufacturers deserve better IT support. The generalist providers serving the market treated manufacturing environments like any other office network. They did not understand ERP systems, OT networks, compliance frameworks, or the true cost of production downtime. Manufacturers deserved a partner who spoke their language and built solutions for their reality.
Twenty-five years later, that founding principle still drives everything we do. We have grown, evolved, and expanded our capabilities, but our mission has never changed: make technology work for manufacturers, not against them.
Our Core Values
Reliability Above All Else
Manufacturing does not tolerate unreliable IT. When your ERP goes down, production stops. When email fails, orders are missed. When the network drops, every connected system follows.
We build reliability into everything we do, from the infrastructure we design to the monitoring we deploy to the response times we commit to. Our clients maintain 99.95% average network uptime because reliability is not just a goal; it is a non-negotiable standard.
Reliability extends beyond technology to our relationship. When we commit to a timeline, we meet it. When we quote a price, we honor it. When we say we will resolve an issue, we follow through.
Proactive, Not Reactive
The traditional IT model is broken. Wait for something to break, then charge by the hour to fix it. This model punishes reliability and rewards failure. It is fundamentally misaligned with the needs of manufacturers who cannot afford downtime.
Our proactive approach inverts this model. We monitor, maintain, and optimize your systems continuously so that problems are caught and resolved before they impact your operations. We invest in prevention because it delivers better outcomes for you and reflects who we are as a company.
Every morning, our team reviews overnight monitoring alerts, backup reports, and security events. By the time your first shift arrives, we have already addressed anything that needed attention. That is what proactive IT looks like.
Transparent Pricing
IT spending should be predictable and understandable. You should know exactly what you are paying for, what it covers, and what your monthly bill will be before you sign an agreement.
Our flat-rate, per-seat pricing model eliminates the uncertainty that plagues hourly billing arrangements. One monthly fee covers helpdesk support, monitoring, maintenance, cybersecurity, and onsite visits. No hidden fees. No surprise invoices. No escalating costs when you need more help.
We believe transparent pricing builds trust. When you never have to wonder whether calling IT support will trigger an unexpected bill, you call sooner, and problems get resolved faster.
Manufacturing Expertise
We chose to specialize in manufacturing because it demands specialization. The technology challenges of a production environment, from IT/OT network convergence to CMMC compliance to ERP integration, require engineers who understand both the technology and the operational context.
Our team includes engineers who have spent their careers in manufacturing IT. They understand your ERP vendor's quirks, your CNC controller's network requirements, and the importance of not rebooting a server during a production run. This expertise translates to faster problem resolution, better technology recommendations, and fewer mistakes.
We do not support law firms, medical offices, or retail businesses. Manufacturing is our focus, our passion, and our competitive advantage.
Security First
Every recommendation we make and every system we deploy is designed with security at the core. From endpoint protection to network segmentation, we build layered defenses that protect your operations and your intellectual property.
In an era where manufacturing is the most targeted industry for cyberattacks, security cannot be an afterthought or an add-on. It must be woven into the fabric of every IT decision, and that is exactly how we operate.
Partnership, Not Vendorship
We view our client relationships as partnerships. Your success is our success. When your production runs smoothly, when you pass a compliance audit, when your technology investment delivers measurable returns, those outcomes matter to us personally.
This partnership manifests in how we operate. Your account manager knows your business goals, not just your ticket history. Our quarterly business reviews discuss your strategic direction, not just our service metrics. When we recommend a technology investment, it is because it serves your business objectives, not our revenue targets.
We retain clients for years, several for decades, because partnerships built on genuine mutual interest endure.
